1 mL at a time

Good morning Solomon supporters.  All of the love for this little man is amazing.  He is doing great.  He is breathing air level oxygen, and mostly on his own.  His weight is back up to 1 lb 4 oz.  My milk came in and he is getting 1 mL of it every 3 hours.  Solomon even got to take off his shades and turn off his light for a while yesterday.  Today's hurdle is to remove the feeding tube from his belly button and insert an IV.

I enjoyed visits from friends and family yesterday.  I successfully stuck a needle in my own stomach and survived.  I'm in the hospital for today and then they're sending me packing tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to being home with Jared and Samson.  Big brother has been cheering me up with his visits and he is handling all this better than any 4 year old could be expected to.
