What a wonderful day.  Imagine my surprise when Solomon's nurse asked if I wanted to hold him today.  Of course my answer was yes and we snuggled for about 90 minutes.  I got to hold him on my chest, skin-to-skin.  This is called Kangaroo care and it's incredibly beneficial, for both baby and me.  Solomon was very still at first, curled up nice and warm and making the most adorable little squirrel noises.  Then his big brother called him to skype.  As soon as Samson started talking, Solomon put his hand up high in the air and started waving it back and forth.  The nurses said that he's been breathing room air (no added oxygen) this evening.  He's eating well and is up to 5.5 mL of milk every 3 hours.  Thank you to everyone for the continuous love and support.  Good night!
